Simple synthesizer built with Audio Data API

This synthesizer example, while over a year old, demonstrates a pretty simple implementation of a synthesizer built using Mozilla's Audio Data API.  The code is pretty easy to follow, but the sluggish performance makes it difficult to utilize.  The author had this to say about it:

The biggest issue I have with this demo is the huge buffering delay. Unfortunately, I couldn't do much about it because it's imposed by Firefox, which requires a 500ms delay between writing audio buffers.

Still seems worth a gander, though.
